Sector Focus Resources: Creative Music in Community

Learn about par­tic­i­pa­to­ry music in com­mu­ni­ty con­texts across Cana­da. These short videos show a diverse range of music projects fea­tur­ing musi­cians and orga­ni­za­tions. Each video is a micro-doc­u­men­tary that shows the project, the impacts, and the com­pe­ten­cies musi­cians need to lead in that com­mu­ni­ty con­text. This sec­tion is offered in part­ner­ship with the research project Com­mu­ni­ty Music in Cana­da, led by Dean­na Yerichuk (Wil­frid Lau­ri­er Uni­ver­si­ty). The research is sup­port­ed by the Social Sci­ences and Human­i­ties Research Council.
