Rob Lutes
A masterful fingerstyle guitarist with an unmistakable, soulful voice, over his eight albums, Rob Lutes has steadily built a collection of critically acclaimed songs that inhabit the intersection of blues, folk, jazz, Americana, and the contemporary singer-songwriter genre. Rob is a two time Canadian Folk Music Award winner and multiple nominee, and a multiple Maple Blues Award nominee. Since 2000 he has given workshops at festivals, schools and to community groups on songwriting, creativity, mental health and music history.
Rob is also a co-founder of Sussex, a genre-bending country-jazz group, which features guitar, vibraphone, pedal steel and upright bass.
He tours widely in Canada and Europe.
