What is New Music?

Canadian living art music comes from many cultural traditions and musical practices (see list below). What brings us together is our belief in the intrinsic value of contemporary musical creativity, both to individuals and to the larger society. Our goal is to support the creation of music that is about expanding our means of personal and sonic expression, music that is about the art of listening.
